Sales Consultant

RedG has an immediate opening for a Sales Consultant in South Florida.  

You’re bright, aggressive, happy, and yearning to grow.  You’re interested in computers, fascinated with the opportunities of the Internet.  You want a unique offering you can take to your world and beyond, and you’ve already got some ideas on how to go about it.

You’re no stranger to opportunities, and you’re a bit flattered at the job offers you receive regularly.  But somehow, you need a way to build and grow without the confines of traditional business, and you’re seeking an opportunity with truly unique value and potential.

What you will do:

You will lead the sales effort with a combination of technology and moxie, not necessarily in that order.  You will give presentations, both locally and online, using our existing materials, changing as you see fit.  You will participate and help create our online seminars, and you will meet customers from around the globe.  You will leverage our mailing lists with fresh ideas, and you will help us build our revenues and technology.  You will learn how to create online communities and meet a myriad of customers with unique requirements and few alternatives.

And you will be paid handsomely.

Job Description

The Sales Consultant helps prospects, both agents and offices, make the buying decision by following up on leads, responding to inbound calls and e-mails, supporting website trials and making outbound calls and supporting website trials.

Duties and Responsibilities

Specific:

  • Schedule and make sales presentations at local Realtor Boards and real estate offices.
  • Make a minimum of 25 outbound calls a day.
  • Meet sales quotas and goals.

General:

  • Understand the benefits and features of the RedG product line.
  • Understand how the Internet works and how it can benefit small businesses.
  • Learn how to demonstrate the benefits and features of the RedG product line.
  • Follow up and close leads.
  • Stay in constant contact with prospects to help them make the buying decision.
  • Stay in constant contact with customers to help them choose new features and products as they become available
  • Follow sales procedures and guidelines.
  • Accurately update Contact Management Software with all inbound and outbound sales calls.

 Job History

  • Minimum two years experience in sales.
  • Minimum two years experience in customer support.
  • Experience in basic HTML preferred.
  • Experience in a high-energy, volume driven sales environment.
  • Prior experience in selling in the Internet environment is a plus.
  • Experience in the real estate industry a plus.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency with Windows.
  • Ability to navigate quickly on the Internet and use Netscape and Internet Explorer.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multi-task.
  • Ability to work well with a team.
  • Strong verbal and writing skills.

Education/Certifications

  • Minimum 2 years of college preferred.
  • Technical training a plus.
